Retreat

I can’t escape myself. I have endeavoured with ardent passion and drive to escape society, to escape government, to escape politics, to escape laws, to escape impositions, to escape authority, to escape others' responsibility, to escape others' responsibility, to escape others' responsibility. And all it has left me with is myself. Of course I could not have asked for anything else, but perhaps it is only best to escape from when what you escape to is at least bearable.
